SERBIAN TOURISM AFTER THE WAR
Having previously worked with the Montenegro Government on a HELLO! magazine celebrity campaign, the National Tourism Organisation of Serbia sought a strategic partner to assess, evaluate and deliver a strategic tourism and PR programme to ‘heal a broken nation’. Despite death threats and empty planes, we set to task with brand reinvention, through targeted press trips, World Travel Market campaigns and ‘Top Tier’ B2B and B2C government interviews. Today, the premise of war in Serbia is perhaps a distant memory in terms of tourism receipts, averaging $1047m between 2002-2020 (theglobaleconomy.com) and 4m+ arrivals in 2024 (Wikipedia).

What started out as naysaying from the media turned around via IRL case studies (eg ‘The Secret Millionaire’), and emotive life-changing case studies. Even the most cynical of financial journalists become an ally over time, through trust and evidence-based exclusives.


HUMANE BEING ‘SCRAP FACTORY FARMING’
Having previously advised Hackett & Dabbs lawyers on sensitive social justice campaigns, we were entrusted by their client, Humane Being, to curate and deliver curated ‘Top Tier’ media output to promote the ‘Scrap Factory Farming’ legal case brought against the government of the day. This campaign set to educate vs alarm Joe Public, highlighting the risks and dangers of factory farming. Supporting a large group of experts, to include vets, volunteers, academics and activists, the key objective was to educate, inform and to dispel general fear and mistrust of the media, and to deliver quality media output – both of which was achieved with aplomb.
