I am committed to protecting the personal data that I obtain. The privacy and confidentiality of my clients, consultants and visitors to my website matters to me.
The principle reason I process personal data is to provide PR and talent agency services to my clients and associated functions in that role. I also process some personal data collected from visitors to my website and social media sites for the purposes set out below.
Where I decide the purpose or means for the processing of the personal data, I am the “data controller” for the information provided to me by my clients for the duration of our relationship unless otherwise stated. As data controller, I will comply with all applicable data protection laws.

What kinds of personal data do I collect and process?
This depends on who you are and your relationship with me.
In the negotiation stage of a contract with you I will process some of your personal data by consent to explore the possibility of our professional relationship. If that relationship does not proceed to a mutually agreed contract I will retain only such data as I am required to by law and in accordance with my retention policy.
When you become my client I will collect contact information such as name, address, email address and telephone number. I may also hold information including, but not limited to, copy of passport, National Insurance number, all contact details including those of next of kin and any other representatives, such as legal, driving licence, bank account details, date of birth and VAT information, as might be appropriate.
In addition, I will process financial information which can include bank data, accountant details, visa details (for working abroad) and insurance details.
I will also process biographical information which has been approved by you or your representative. I may also use feedback you provide about my services on my website or social media pages, but only if you consent to this.
I will process this data because the processing is necessary for the performance of our mutually agreed contract.
Visitors to my website and social media sites
When you visit my website, you may have the option to sign up to receive information or promotional material from me by email. I collect and process your email address only. If you change your mind at any time and no longer wish to receive communications from me, please email me at the following email address firstname.lastname@example.org with the words “unsubscribe me” in the subject line.
My website does not contain third party advertising.
While I do not allow third party advertising (or targeted advertising) on my website, if you do link to one of my social media pages, or any third-party site, you may be subject to targeted marketing via that site.
This website contains links to my social media pages on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.
These third-party websites have their own respective privacy policies (which I would advise you to read) for which those sites are solely responsible.

If you would like to have deleted the personal data that you’ve shared with the social media accounts that you have joined or that you follow, please contact the social media providers directly.
There may be other individuals with whom I do business and for whom I hold and/or process personal data. Examples are individuals who work for companies by whom my clients are engaged, individuals in the media and celebrities and other public figures whose personal information is publicly available on verified lists, websites and directories maintained by reputable organisations. I process this information for my legitimate interest in maintaining and developing my business as a PR and talent agent and the legitimate interest of the clients by whom I am engaged in furthering their careers.
I am able to provide a copy of some third party agency Privacy Policies and use of data, should these be required.

I will not share your information with any third parties UNLESS
- It is necessary in the performance of my contractual obligation to you, in order to obtain media-related opportunities, engagements and publicity for you
- They are a third-party data processor acting upon my instruction
- I am required to do so by law
- You have provided your specific consent for me to do so

Information may be held on my server and those of third parties with whom I have shared your personal data solely for the purposes described above.
Transferring your personal data out of the EEA
To provide my services to you, it is sometimes necessary for me to share your personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), eg:-

I do not knowingly use my website to solicit data from or market to children under the age of 16.
If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided me with information or may be receiving communications from me without consent of a parent or guardian, I ask that this be brought to my immediate attention. I will take commercially reasonable, appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk that could be encountered via the use of my website and services, taking into account the likelihood and severity those risks might pose to the rights and freedoms of my website visitors.
In particular, I will take precautions to protect against the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss or alteration, and unauthorised disclosure of or access to the personal information transmitted, stored or otherwise processed by me. In accordance with data protection laws and good commercial practice, I do not retain data in a form that permits identification of the person(s) to whom it relates for any longer than is necessary or is required by law. If you become a client I will retain your information for a period of up to six years after the end of our agreement (unless our agreement states otherwise). If we enter negotiations for a contract which does not proceed, I will retain your personal data for a period of one year following the termination of our negotiations. Once the purpose for which information has been collected has been fulfilled, I can permanently delete your personal information or remove all identifiers within it so that it is no longer personal data, upon request.
