PR maverick, Miranda Leslau, founder of miranda leslau pr and #nofilter talent agency, is also a proud Ambassador to Make-A-Wish® UK, committed to giving back and helping others. As one of the world’s leading multi-lingual communications’ experts, Miranda has a unique and refreshing ‘Black & White’, no-nonsense approach to life and business alike.
Having been advising at board room level aged just 19, Miranda was chosen as one of 60 translator/interpreters for Team GB and the IOC, prior to The 1992 Olympics in Barcelona. Miranda has continued to use her language skills to this day, working with governments, celebrities and numerous organisations and individuals the world over.
Aged 25, Miranda wrote to Lynne Franks, having seen her interviewed on television, after she had sold Lynne Franks PR. Within two weeks, Miranda was sitting at Lynne’s kitchen table being asked “So what do you want to do with your life?”. Miranda simply answered: “I want to make a difference”. It was ever thus in Miranda’s working world and this mantra remains today across all of Miranda’s life and business interests. The rest, as they say, is (PR) history.
After a fast-moving and incredulous working journey that is worthy of a Hollywood film script, Miranda founded miranda leslau pr in memory of her late mother, who died very suddenly in 2000. Since January 2001, miranda leslau pr has supported international individuals, celebrities, brands, governments and charities, across a spectrum of industry sectors. Miranda was also head-hunted by two international universities, Boston University (Boston, MA) and The University of Buckingham, to lecture in PR strategy.
In 2018, by way of a culmination of Miranda’s skills and talents, she launched #nofilter talent, a boutique talent agency with a difference: imagine a private members club that everyone wants to be a part of. #nofilter talent aims to become the ‘stand-out’ B2B and B2C celebrity talent agency, with many well-known names already entrusting their name to Miranda’s exclusive client roster.
Over time, #nofilter talent will deliver a Social Enterprise goal to help chosen charities and her former senior school, with financial assistance, as part of her “make a difference” ethos.
